Medical Cooling Rebate Scheme Approved

The Queensland Government has introduced a new electricity concession to provide financial assistance to low-income Queenslanders with a medical condition such as Parkinson’s disease. 

The concession commences on 1st July 2010 and provides assistance with the increased electricity costs incurred by frequent operation of cooling or heating systems in order to regulate body temperature.
