Imagine cycling dusty roads within the Mekong Delta, open to the exquisite and ever-changing scenery of Cambodia, the jewel of Southeast Asia, knowing that with every kilometre you cover, you will be raising funds for Parkinson’s Queensland to continue its important work.
Parkinson’s Queensland is offering you the opportunity to join a group of travel & philanthropy enthusiasts this November, with the launch of the Cambodian Odyssey 2017, a new initiative developed in partnership with Inspired Adventures. This is your opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people with Parkinson’s in Queensland, alongside a memorable experience.
During this 11-day adventure you will cycle from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh and experience everything Cambodia has to offer by immersing yourself in traditional Khmer culture. The highlights will include captivating sights, ancient temples, classical Khmer art and delicious traditional Cambodian cuisine. Witness the exquisite wonders as you travel countryside, into traditional communities and bustling cities, explore impressive jungle temples and gaze upon the majestic spires of Angkor Wat.
This challenge will take place from the 16th-26th November, 2017.
